So thank you again for a wonderful time in Sweden. I spent the whole journey home in a happy buzz feeling very lucky to be a photographer and get to meet such wonderful people!
The training was incredibly useful - I truly feel my photography moved on so much in one day. I filled the gaps in my knowledge and gained the confidence to do much more! I felt it also embedded a lot more of what Jerry taught us. I was doing a maternity shoot yesterday and was much quicker to look at the light, get the nose shadows and position right etc etc Everything just seems to have clicked into place!
I am really happy with the images from the day. What’s most important is that you allowed me to direct much of the shoot myself and work in my normal way but helped me with the elements where I needed help. (On many training courses the instructors just set it all up and you take a picture which means that a. you don’t learn much and b. you can’t always reproduce those images yourself. As a result in the past I have not used the pictures in my portfolio!)
It was absolutely fantastic working with you - as I knew it would be. I’d been wanting to get the opportunity to work with you for months. I was considering asking to assist you on a wedding, so when I heard you were doing the workshops it was ideal! You really are a great teacher. Generous with your knowledge and ideas, allowing the student to work in their way but really understanding where they need help and making those changes feel completely natural and simple to implement. You make it feel so easy!!!
The hotel, model and stylist were also fantastic - so well organised, and you took such great care of me as a stranger to Sweden. Thank you, thank you. thank you!!!!
Once again, thank you SO much for all your hospitality and hard work to make my trip to Sweden so enjoyable and worthwhile. My words are not just being kind, if there was something I think you should do differently I would tell you!!!
And please remember, there are HUNDREDS of training programmes in the UK but I chose to train with you because your work and personality were just right for my needs.
